WEP Cracking

I'm presenting at the Jacksonville Linux Users Group (JaxLUG) today, my presentation is on the security flaws of the WEP protocol, and demonstrating how easy it is to subvert. Thanks in advance for everyone planning on being there today.

  1. Thank you to everyone who attended the presentation, it went very well in my opinion.

    A lot of people have asked me what adapter I used during the presentation to achieve packet injection, so I figured I would share it here.

    The adapter I use is an Alfa AWUS036H USB adapter. It’s 802.11b/g, has a Realtek chipset, and only costs about $30. It works very well with Linux, and did an amazing job for my presentation.
